People Pleasure addresses the politics of desire through a monumental red hand on a red field. The gesture evokes a female hand engaged in self-pleasure, but the work resists voyeuristic reading. Instead, it reframes pleasure as self-ownership, asking who pleasure ultimately serves: the self, the gaze, or society’s silent expectations. The piece moves between autonomy and performance, exposing the tension between private intimacy and social conditioning.
